The card answer

GET /api/partner/v1/fragrances/{id}/card answers with one fragrance card. This page explains every field in it.

The outer answer

ok: true with status: "public" is the only answer that carries a card, and the only answer that uses up a call from your allowance. Every other answer is described on Errors and refusals.

The worked example: Casafutura

Xerjoff, Casamorati - Casafutura, Eau de Parfum, id 03c188b7-74aa-469d-ae40-caa8c45673b7. This is the answer as the door built it on 29 September 2026, with two changes: the label fields the door used to send were removed on 30 September 2026, and three ingredient descriptions are cut shorter, where they end in …. Its description is the brand's own words, and all ten notes are linked to our ingredient library, so all ten have a picture.

Field by field

Every field is always present. A fact we do not hold is null or an empty list, never left out, so your code can read every field without checking that it exists first. New fields may be added in version 1; ignore the ones you do not know.

Who and what

Perfumers

perfumers is a list, empty when no perfumer is recorded (as for Casafutura). Each entry:

Notes: the pyramid

tiers is a list of up to four stages, in this order. A stage with no notes is left out.

unknown holds notes whose stage was never given. Some perfumes have only that stage, and some have it as well as the other three. The same ingredient can appear in more than one stage.

Each note in notes:

A note that is not linked still has a name. It looks like this:

Show the name without a picture, or leave that note out. Do not show a stand-in picture that looks like ours.

The pictures. In the pictures we checked on 29 September 2026, each is a square PNG, 1024 by 1024 pixels, on a plain white background (not transparent). They look best on a white or near-white tile; on a coloured page, put each one in a white tile rather than changing the picture. The address is public on purpose: put it straight in an img tag, no key needed. See Rules and terms of use.

Families

families is a list of scent families, in the order they were found. Each entry has a name only (for Casafutura, "Woods, Aromatic, Green, Floral, Citrus"). Show it if you want a family line.

Relationships

relationships is a list of groups, empty when there are none (as for Casafutura). It lists only the links we have confirmed; a link we have not yet checked is left out, and a group with no confirmed link is left out too. Each group has a heading and items. The headings are:

Each item is a real perfume with its own id, so you can ask for its card too. A dupe or an "inspired by" perfume is a perfume in its own right, never a duplicate of the original.

Description

description is null, or:

Show the words with no label: no "from the brand", no "source:", no name of a website or a shop above, beside or under them. That is a firm rule of ours, and it applies to your page too. See Rules and terms of use.

If you only want the brand's own words on your page, show text only when brandWords is true.

About three perfumes in ten have no description we may publish. That is deliberate: words with no recorded source are not published. Leave the block out rather than filling it with something of your own that looks like ours.

Availability

availability is null when nobody has checked (as for Casafutura), or:

What is never in a card

No prices. Not of any perfume, ever.
No bottle photographs. The only pictures are of ingredients.
No ratings, no reviews, and no men's or women's label.
No source, no link to where a fact was found, and no label. No Fragrantica address and no shop's name either. Where each fact came from stays in our database.

If your page needs a price or a bottle shot, it has to come from your own data.

How complete a card is

Counted on 29 September 2026 across the 176,047 perfumes we hold, from 8,572 brands:
