Builder overview

The builder lets you give a fragrance card your own look. Your workspace's changes belong to your output; they do not change the shared catalogue or another workspace's card.

This guide describes the builder prepared for the next release. Its local checks have passed; release and live-account acceptance are still pending.

Start with your workspace

Sign in and open Your workspaces. Start your own workspace creates a workspace for you alone. It cannot add members, speak for a brand or publish catalogue changes. Looks are available to free members; keys, the command line and your own assistant come with All Access. A business starts its own business account and waits for its access to be approved.

Choose a perfume and a place

Open Looks, search for a perfume by brand and name, and choose where you will use the card. Square, 4:5 and story places can export pictures. Other places use their supported card format. Start with a free preview before exporting; a preview is JSON and never a stored picture file.

Outline, structure and design

Select the card block you want to change. Outline controls which blocks are shown and their order. Structure controls how notes are grouped. Design controls the type, spacing, note size, shape and visible names. Ingredients remain linked to their real library pictures and smell descriptions; their smell type is intentionally fixed for readability.

Colours and your brand

Choose a palette and the card ground. Your entitlement determines whether you may use your own colours, logo and uploaded fonts. Controls explain what is locked. Unsupported fonts or settings are refused rather than silently saved. Availability of private fonts still needs live-account proof.

Change your own notes and words

Move, remove or add notes in your workspace card. Added notes come from the ingredient library. Your changes do not write back to the catalogue. When a removed note is named in your wording, the builder highlights the relevant sentence. Keep it or remove it yourself; no sentence is removed automatically.

Save and return

A look saves the appearance and place. A separate workspace edit saves the notes and wording for that perfume. Save reports both outcomes. If one save conflicts with a newer edit, your unsaved changes stay on screen so you can review them. Undo and redo work within your editing session. Saved looks have versions you can restore; archiving a look keeps its history.

What is missing

Missing words or pictures are shown as gaps. Select the missing block to review your choices. A missing picture is not an invitation to invent one. The card keeps the ingredient's name where an approved picture is unavailable.

Members and roles

Business owners manage members and see the audit. Members can edit their workspace's looks under the existing permissions. A personal workspace has one person and has no Members controls.

Usage and audit

A served JSON card or PNG picture costs one call. An unchanged cache check and builder previews are free. Business owners can inspect usage and the audit. Saving a look does not reset the allowance. See limits and caching.

Worked example: Casafutura

Choose Casafutura and a square place. Select its title, change the type size, then choose the notes block and adjust the picture shape. Save the look as casafutura-square. Preview your wording and notes before saving their workspace edits. Export the picture only when both saves succeed.

Your server can ask for Casafutura's id with ?look=casafutura-square&format=png, using its server-side key. Keep the JSON and picture in separate cache entries. If the answer refuses a setting, read its code and correct the request before retrying.
